NI Updates

Native Instruments announced a few new products today, and I get [most of] them for free.

Like many others, I had been bemoaning the lack of benefits from their Komplete Care 2006 update plan, and here they go dropping a bomb on us. I basically get Komplete 4 for free — including major updates to Absynth, FM7 and Battery, as well as their Akoustic Piano grand piano libraries.

They also have a new synth coming out, Massive, that sounds pretty great. I will wait and see what kind of discount us loyal customers will get, before committing myself to it.

Anyway.. Good news for me! Between this and the imminent Live 6 release (to be purchased ASAP), I will be too busy fiddling around to create any new music. Yay!

Reaktor 5.1

Native Instruments just announced a free update to Reaktor 5, which includes several entirely new instruments. What a deal!

NATIVE INSTRUMENTS: new in REAKTOR 5.1

Now, they just need to get their act together and update Kontakt 2.
