Today was my last day of spring break, so I did what I consider to be a half-AAD (album in a day) — 10 minutes of music, done in 6 hours.. No throwing anything away. My daughter came in from school and named it after her snack. Try to enjoy it!

Track 3 is probably the best one.

We got a new macbook yesterday, and in the process of migrating data from our old powerbook, I came across this poem that I forgot writing. It’s dated Dec. 15, 2004, for whatever that’s worth.

In the street, I saw
A mute macaw
He did not sing
or speak

A suicide note,
in birdling, wrote,
dangled from his beak.

“Goodbye cruel world.
I’m just a bird.
And, frankly, I am beat.”

A car came along –
more Vrooom than Song –
and spread him across
concrete.
